Central Honors Philando Event on August 21, 2022 from 1pm to 5:00pm
This year’s Central Honors Philando event will be back in person at Dunning Recreation Center. More details can be found at the Central Honors Philando Facebook page or website. This annual event has been online for the last couple of years and we are all looking forward to gathering again as a community to honor Philando. Philando Castile’s high school classmates began organizing community gatherings back in August of 2016 to celebrate his life and to raise money for a scholarship in his name.

Senior Honors Night is rescheduled for June 2, 2021 at 7 pm and will be streamed on Central’s Central Morning News (CMN) YouTube channel: linked here.
At the February 23,2021 St Paul Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Gothard announced that the district would like to send middle and high school students back to in person learning.
Scholarship Applications – NOW OPEN!!!
Applications to apply for the 2021 Scholarships will remain open from March 8- April 12. Any of the 401 seniors who plan to graduate this year from Central High School can apply. Applications are due on April 12, 2021 and can be accessed here. Members of the St. Paul Central High School Foundation and partner committees will review the applications in April and award 23 scholarships to the Class of 2021 at the end of May.
23 scholarships will be awarded to 2021 Central Graduates:

- One Mary Mackbee Scholarship
- Three Heiruspecs Scholarships
- One Philando Castile Scholarship
- One Janisch Scholarship
- One Nora Longley Scholarship
- One Nancy Berkley Scholarship

- One Fischer Anderson Scholarship
- One Heart and Soul (class of 1999) Scholarship
